A code review is a great, inexpensive way to make sure you’re on the right track with your codebase. Instead of hiring a full-time expert to revamp your code, why not ask for a code review first?
How do our code reviews work?
When reviewing your code, we’re going through a checklist of over 50 items to make sure you’re all set for success in terms of scalability and maintainability.
As we comb through your files, we look for specific anti-patterns and common mistakes, as well as look for possible improvements.
We build a comprehensive PDF report that will be sent to you upon completion of the review. The PDF points to specific files and line numbers with suggestions on how to improve or fix your code.
Then we plan a 1-hour phone call to talk about the results of the review, which is a great opportunity for you to ask any questions you might have.
And that’s it!
When to expect the resulting report?
We spend 3-4 hours reviewing your code, which is usually more than enough for most code bases. We’ll let you know if we need more time depending on our findings along the way.
Expect up to one week for us to perform the review, even if our usual turnaround is 48 to 72 hours.
Any questions?
Feel free to schedule a quick call with us to talk about it.
